NATIONAL STRIKE AGAINST LOW PAY!
Wow. Thousands of workers in 60 cities joined our call for a National Strike and went on strike for better pay and better treatment on August 29. The top eight fast food chains – McDonald’s, Wendy’s, Burger King, Taco Bell, KFC, Pizza Hut, Domino’s and Papa John’s – made $7.35 billion in profit last year, yet they continue to pay us poverty wages. It’s shameful. And we’ve had enough.
Are you with us? August 29 was only the beginning – add your name below.
I support fast food workers who are on strike for $15 an hour and the right to form a union without retaliation. Hugely profitable corporations should pay their employees enough to afford basic needs. Higher pay and more hours will help grow the middle class and get our economy working — for everyone — again.
